Call it a wild hair or just a major need for change since turning the big 2-8 yesterday. Nevertheless, today I actually took the big plunge and chopped my hair off. I'm really excited to donate my 10 + inches to Locks of Love. It may sound a little cheesy, but I felt a lot better about cutting all that hair knowing that it may benefit someone else eventually. I encourage one and all to do it too. Maybe I'll even talk some of my seven other sisters, (who all happen to have REALLY long hair right now) into doing the same.
Here are a few pictures of before and after. I haven't tried styling it myself yet. Hopefully I'll like it once its left up to me.

Do you know if they accept dyed/highlighted hair? I need to research it because I would like to cut my hair when it's long enough. Your hair is really cute!
If you look on the Locks of Love sight, you'll see all the guidelines. I'm really liking it so far. My head feels a hundred times lighter and I hope that it will be easy to brush and fix. I swear that it took at least 15 min's to brush out previously. I just don't have the time or energy.

I love the cut! I always loved the feeling of cutting all my hair off. You feel like a totally different person.
I would love to have mine cut like that, but my hair is so fluffy that I would have to use the straightener every day and well... I just don't have that kind of energy these days! Will you have to do much, or does your hair naturally lay that way?

I did the same thing because the only "style" I was wearing anymore with long hair was a ponytail. Looks so cute.
