It was a rare opportunity for most of my family to go on vacation together. We spent a lot of time at the beach and pool. No Disney this time around, maybe when Edward is a bit older. We enjoyed seeing one of the last few space shuttles take off from Cocoa Beach.
There is something about these long Iowa winters that almost drive one crazy. Thank goodness for sunshine, warmth, and the ocean.

Edward is SO cute! I hope we get to see him in person again soon. Last time we saw him he was only a few months old!
That looks amazing! I'm sure it was wonderful to get away from the cold for a bit - there is nothing better than the beach.

How fun to have so much family on vacation all at once! To answer your FB question - we're over on the other side of the state, in-between Orlando and Tampa. The day the shuttle launched, it was clear enough that we were able to watch it from this side, too! Glad you guys had so much fun. You went to the GOOD ocean side!
