Most probably already know this news...so this is for those who haven't heard.
I finally had my FIRST Midwife appointment today and heard the strong beating of our little baby's heart, (160's for those who are interested). I'm almost 13 weeks now and ready to be done with the first trimester , yahoo!
Edward was SOOO VERY happy to actually hear the heartbeat. He talks all the time about his baby "BOY," (let's hope that he will be happy if it ends up being a girl). I didn't expect him to be this excited and interested. It makes the second time around a lot of fun for us all.

Yaa for you and Edward! And John too of course. :) I'm due Nov. 3rd but we plan on meeting baby closer to Oct. 3. Hope you beat me!

You'll have so much fun with Edward being in on the excitement. Elisa was just a little too young when I was pregnant, but she makes a great 'helper' now. She never wants to miss out on diaper changes!
